Meet our founder
Emelie Silverterna, founder of Noème, is a passionate and innovative architect with extensive experience in residential architecture and housing development.
She has held prominent roles, including as a housing developer for Wendelstrand for Next Step, responsible for one of Northern Europe's most significant residential wooden projects with 1,000 climate-efficient homes. For Liljewall arkitekter, Emelie served as the Sweden Manager for the housing market area and was a member of their board.
Emelie's experience as a product developer from Ikea has allowed her to balance creativity and financial aspects, ensuring success for each project. Her expertise in property branding for residential projects creates a unique identity and brand for each residential project resulting in increased profit.
Emelie has a proven track record of overseeing projects from conception to completion creating bespoke architecture. She has developed several detailed plans and is regularly involved in early stages, competitions, and parallel assignments. She excels at quickly presenting and concretizing ideas, creating concepts, and setting common goals with a focus on sustainability.
She has supervised housing courses at Chalmers architectural education, collaborated with housing researchers, and participated in research projects focused on housing development and wooden construction.
Emelie's experience extends globally, having worked in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Älmhult, and Beijing, and received training in Taiwan.
